Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe, find out the problems experienced by educators in using IT-based Islamic Religious Education learning models and find solutions and ways to grow educators' awareness to utilize technology to implement IT-based Islamic Religious Education learning models that are in line with learning standards at MA PINK 03 South Tambun.
This research is qualitative research. The source of the research data was taken from observations and interviews. The respondents of this study were principals, vice principals, school sapras, Islamic reUgious education teachers, and students. Data analysis method with observation, interviews, and documentation.
The results showed that the factors behind the non-use of IT-based Islamic religious education learning models were due to negative paradigms that considered that technological advances would only complicate the learning process of Islamic religious education. Awareness of the importance of technology in today's learning model can be grown by counseling Islamic religious education educators about the importance of involving IT in classroom learning. Then the solution to realize it can be realized through training micro teaching with sincronus and asincronus models without the need to change important points in the applicable Islamic religious education syllabus.
