Abstract

Evaluation of the Field Work Practice Program at SMK Bisnis Informatika in Bekasi City

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to analyze the field work practice program at SMK Bisnis Informatika in Bekasi City. The evaluation model used is CIPP, where the program is analyzed in terms of context, input, process, and product, then described using a qualitative approach
. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman method, starting with data collection, data reduction, and then drawing conclusions. Data collection n methods used in this evaluation include interviews, observations, and document studies.
The findings of the researcher include the context evaluation, the program has been implemented well, but there is a need for improvement in existing facilities and infrastructure, especially in terms of comfort and safety factors to support the field work practice program. The input evaluation is quite good but needs improvement, particularly in teaching staff and the suitability of selecting field work practice locations that need to be aligned with the students' majors. The process evaluation has been implemented well. In the product evaluation, the character and work culture produced by students have improved, marked by increased discipline and responsiveness of students after conducting field work practice activities, but there is a need for improvement in student competencies. The conclusion is that the field work practice program at SMK Bisnis Informatika in Bekasi City can be continued with improvements
