Abstract

Happy employees are characterized by marital satisfaction and work-life balance in their personal lives. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an influence between marital satisfaction and work-life balance on happiness.
The method used is a quantitative approach using non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling type. This study used 52 subjects. The data collection method used in this study used interviews and psychological scales. The research instruments used were the Oxford Happiness Qustionnaire (OHQ) scale, the Enrich Marital Statisfaction Scale (EMSS) and the work-life balance scale.
The results correlation test, there is a relationship between marital satisfaction and happiness (r = 0.617, p < 0.05). there is a relationship between work-life balance and happiness (r = 0.665 , p < 0.05). Marital satisfaction and work-life balance contributed 53.9% to happiness with a value of (R2= 0,538; F= 28.648, p<0,000)
