Abstract

This study aims to study how the implementation of Tahsin Tilawah Al-Qur’an program using Iqra’ method in improving the ability to read the Qur’an in children of MI Ziyadatul Hasanat, Jatikramat, Jatiasih, Bekasi. This research uses qualitative methods with the type of field research with a phenomenological approach. Being a source of research through observations, interviews, and analysis of documents. The research informants are selected thoroughly based on the duties and responsibilities that exist in the Madrasah neighborhood.
This is a way of improving the ability of children to read the Qur'an. It is also a way for children to learn the Quran by using the methods of Iqra’ in their teaching. The teacher is not able to apply Iqra’ methods properly, the time is too short, the learning is not thorough, and there are students who are not smooth in reading the Quran. The solution is to follow the training, the workshop is related to learning Iqra’s methods to repeat and recall, and add the learning hours of students outside of school hours so that students have more time to learn tilawah with Iqra’.
