Abstract

The problem encountered in the Management of Village Funds in Physical
Development in Gandasari Village is the inaccurate achievement of program targets
and the incomplete allocation for physical development in 2022 due to urgent
factors, particularly efforts to prevent and mitigate the Covid-19 pandemic. This
study aims to examine the fund management in Gandasari Village and the strategies
employed to overcome obstacles in implementing community empowerment
programs in the physical sector. The research method used is qualitative. Data were
collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The results of
the research conducted on the Management of Village Funds in Physical
Development in Gandasari Village, Cikarang Barat Subdistrict, Bekasi Regency,
conclude that principles of good governance, such as transparency, accountability,
and Value For Money, have been successfully implemented by the Gandasari
Village government. The implementation of these principles has had a significant
impact on physical development and community welfare in the area. Transparency
is realized through open budget information dissemination to the community, while
accountability is strengthened through active community participation in planning
and decision-making.
