Abstract

In today's modern era, the use of the Internet of Things (IoT) has been widely applied in various fields, almost all electronic devices are already connected to the internet. Along with the development of technology, the application of technology in the field of waters really needs to be considered. That is one of the efforts in overcoming the problem of overflowing water that occurs due to flooding. The improvement of the dam door control system can maximize the performance of water management in watersheds such as rivers. This is the basis for the author's thinking in designing an automatic sluice arrangement system on the dam as a flood
In this Research, the authors designed a prototype water dam monitoring system that can work with the water monitoring system process automatically and open and close the sluice gate which is controlled remotely. This system is designed using NodeMCU ESP32 microcontroller as the central control system and blynk software as a remote monitoring control system. In this study, a prototype of a water dam has been successfully designed with an automatic door opening and closing system or a manual water opening and closing system. The result is that this system can provide solutions to the community to anticipate flooding due to overflowing river water.
