This study aims to determine the implementation of the Tilawati method in improving students' Al-Qur'an reading skills at SDI Teratai Putih Global. This research is motivated by the lack of ability of Muslims and Muslim women to read the Koran. The inability to read the Koran is often experienced from children to adults. This happens a lot due to many factors, one of which is a learning method that is less effective in its application.
The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the tilawati method at SDI Teratai Putih Global can help improve students' Al-Qur'an reading skills. This increase can be seen from the results of observations made by researchers in class 3 Volume 5 with a total of 13 students. Of the 13 students, there were 10 students who showed an increase in their ability to read the Koran in 3 days of learning the Koran with the tilawati method, which was symbolized by an increase in pages. Even though it is not perfect, the implementation of the tilawati method in improving students' Al-Qur'an reading skills at SDI Teratai Putih Global is sufficient in accordance with the provisions of the tilawati institution. The training provided for teachers makes the class have uniformity in the learning process. There are a number of things that also need to be improved in the process, apart from adding time to make learning more effective, teachers who teach tilawati but have not attended training and have not yet received the shahadah must also attend training immediately so they can teach more professionally. Students who have difficulty learning the Qur'an should also get special treatment so they can catch up with their other friends.
