The Effect of Financial Ratios and Dividend Policy on Profit Growth Case Study of
Chemical and Basic Industry Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange
(IDX).

The purpose of this research is to find out how influential the Current Ratio, Debt
Asset Ratio, Total Asset Turnover, Net Profit Margin and Dividend Payout Ratio have
on Profit Growth. The use of data in this study is secondary data obtained from the
official website of the Indonesian Stock Exchange. Then the method used in this study
is quantitative. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling technique,
so that the number of sample companies in this study were 34 companies with a total
period of four years used so that the observations in this study amounted to 136
observations. Data analysis used in this study used panel data regression using the
Eviews application version 12.
The results of this study then provide information on the variable Net Profit
Margin has a significant positive effect on profit growth, then Current Ratio has no
significant effect on profit growth, Debt to Asset Ratio has no significant effect on profit
growth, Total Asset Trunover has no significant effect on dividend profit growth Payout
Ratio has no significant effect on profit growth.
