Abstract

Abstract
This study aims to explain and analyze :the principal's strategy for increasing
teacher loyalty. The research was conducted at SDIT As-Shofa Cikarang Barat
Bekasi District. This study used a qualitative method. The research subjects were
school principals, vice principals, and teachers. Data collection techniques with
interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity checking technique with
triangulation. The results of the study show the principal's strategy for increasing
teacher loyalty by being a good role model, punishing and rewarding, supervising,
evaluating teachers, conducting performance appraisals, and holding seminars or
workshops. Obstacles that occur in increasing teacher loyalty: lack of
responsibility, not participating in school activities,being late for class and leaving
earlier than the specified time, not motivated to increase loyalty, supervision is
carried out only one time a year.
