Abstract

Ajeng Apririzalni, NPM: 41182191190022, The Relationship between Arm Power, Limb Power and Eye-Hand Coordination to Jump Smash Ability Athletes in PB. TRINOX Bekasi City. Thesis. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Islamic University "45" Bekasi.
The purpose of this study was to determine 1) whether there is a relationship between arm power and the ability to hit badminton jump smash on PB.TRINOX athletes, 2) whether there is a relationship between leg power and the ability to hit badminton jump smash on PB.TRINOX athletes, 3) whether there is eye-hand coordination on the ability to hit badminton jump smash on PB athletes. TRINOX, 4) is there a relationship between arm power, leg power and eye-hand coordination together on the ability to hit badminton jump smash shots on athletes PB. TRINOX.
This research methodology uses a correlation method while the population in this study are athletes PB. Trinox who are categorized as teenagers, totaling 15 people. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling.
From statistical calculations obtained results, partially arm power has a relationship to increasing jump smash badminton games, with a correlation coefficient value of 3.397, a "t" value of 3.303 and significant at 1% alpha. While leg power provides a relationship to increasing jump smash badminton games, with a correlation coefficient value of 0.296, a "t" value of 3.520 and significant at 1% alpha. Likewise, eye-hand coordination has a relationship to increasing jump smash badminton games, with a correlation coefficient value of 1.667, a "t" value of 5.436 and significant at 1% alpha.
Based on the results of the research obtained, it is recommended for the coach to improve the ability to jump smash badminton games, it should be fostered first is the technique when taking a step when you want to make a jump followed by the position of the hand lifting up ready to hit a badminton smash.
