Abstract

This research was motivated by the fact that there are still many students who have difficulty not understanding what to listen to from the teaching materials delivered by teachers in listening to folklore and fairy tales, Solutions to overcome these problems using audio-visual media. This study aims to determine the analysis of the use of audiovisual media to improve listening skills to folklore and fairy tales in elementary schools. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with research inclusion criteria, namely listening skills to stories, audio-visual media, subjects of elementary school students, and based on criteria for the year that has been set for the last 10 years (2012-2022). The results of this research analysis showed that the study (PTK) (Nasaruddin &; A, 2022) showed higher results than the results of other studies with an average value in cycle I of 28% and in cycle II increased by 80% with an average increase from cycle I to cycle II of 52%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of audio visual media can improve the listening skills of elementary school students' stories, this is evidenced by the increase in completeness scores in each cycle.
