Abstract

Minimum regional wages is set by the government based on recommendation of
the Board of Governors Wages. Minimum wage of city’s sector at least 5% of the
minimum wage town. Minimum wage is set at least 40 days before the expiry date.
City minimum wage has applied to workers with tenure less than 1 (one) year.
Prohibited employers to pay wages lower than minimum wage. Criminal
sanctions jail 1 year - 4 years or a fine of 100 million - 400 million (Law No.
13/2003 Article 185).
