Abstract

Citrajaya Village has been planting white glutinous rice since the 90s for generations, driven by the natural potential that supports the growth conditions of the white glutinous rice plant. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. The Sinar Baru farmer group was chosen as the sample because it is an active farmer group with 32 members. The results showed that in the economic aspect, the average income in the first season was IDR 15.208.358/ha and in the second season it was IDR 13.067.730/ha. The results of BEP calculations for white glutinous rice farming obtained BEP revenues in the first season of IDR 9.551.065 and in the second season of IDR 9.819.366, BEP of production in the first season was 2.017 kg and the second season was 2.120 kg, BEP price in the first season it was IDR 2.356 kg and in the second season it was IDR 2.481 kg, and the BEP area in the first season was 0,32 ha and in the second season it was 0,35 ha. The calculation results show that the NPV is IDR 19.846.187, Net B/C is 2,55 > 1. Technical aspects, climatic conditions are suitable for cultivating white glutinous rice, the availability of labor is sufficient, many roads are easily accessible, the use of modern and traditional technology, the social aspect of rice farming business White glutinous rice opens job opportunities, the government does not prohibit farmers from farming white glutinous rice because Subang Regency is known as a producer of glutinous rice, farmers still hold the "metik" tradition from generation to generation.
