Abstract
Wahyu Widiastuti Puji Utami 41182911180088. The Effect of Student Activeness in
Extracurricular Activities on Student Learning Motivation (Class X and XI SMA
Mutiara Islami Plus Serang Baru). Islamic Studies Program, Faculty of Islamic Studies,
Islamic University "45" Bekasi. 1444 H/2023 M.
This research is motivated by the presence of several students who lack motivation to
learn, there are several factors that cause a lack of student motivation such as not getting
encouragement or support from the family, the teacher's efforts in teaching students,
and the lack of participation in learning activities, as well as the number of activities
that are followed. This study aims to determine the effect of student activeness in
extracurricular activities on student learning motivation at Mutiara Islami Plus High
School. The results of this study are expected to provide benefits for every reader,
especially in the world of education. The research method used is quantitative research
by testing the hypothesis using the t test. The population used was students of grades
X and XI at Mutiara Islami Plus High School as many as 230 students with a sample
using the purposive sampling technique. The formula used is the Slovin formula
obtained by 70 students. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant
influence between students' activeness in extracurricular activities on students' learning
motivation. It is known through the acquisition of t-test results of students who are
active in extracurricular activities obtained with a significant value = 1.352 which
results in
