Abstract

This study aims to show how Angkringmen is one of the cosmopolitan spaces appears in the urban community of Bekasi City, especially the Grand Galaxy City area. In this research, Immanuel Kant's cosmopolitan theory is used which is then reinforced by four cosmopolitan terms, namely cosmopolitan in business, ordinary cosmopolitanism, mundane cosmopolitanism, and imagined cosmopolitanism. Observation results obtained ethnographically, both directly and digitally. The appearance that adapts global coffee shops, the incorporation of foreign words as brand names, and the use of global promotional media is one form of cosmopolitanism in terms of business.
