Abstract

Mobile robots are mainly used to help or replace some human work and are widely used in disaster relief, exploration and scientific research. A legged robot is a robot that can walk on both flat and uneven terrain. A hexapod robot is a robot that has 6 legs, 3 feet on each side, and has 18 joints to support the movement of its legs. In this study, the hexapod robot will be designed to behave according to sounds. An acceptable sound is a multiple sound in some predetermined frequency. This study used the MAX4466 sound sensor as an input to detect the frequencies received by the robot to determine the robot's behavior. The Finite State Machine algorithma is used as a controller of robot behavior.
