Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine (1) the potential of water resources used by the people of Ridogalih Village, Cibarusah District, Bekasi Regency (2) to determine the utilization of water resources (3) to determine the supply of household water needs.
The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method. The object of this research is the carrying capacity of the environment and the availability of water resources that can be utilized by the community when there is a water crisis and their daily water needs. While data collection techniques through field observations, literature studies, questionnaires, and documentation of data in the field.
The results showed that (1) the physical condition of water resources based on good water quality with an alkaline pH, clear water, yellowish and also brownish, odorless, tasteless and salty with temperatures not too hot and too cold. (2) In utilizing water resources, the people of Ridogalih Village have used river water, ground water, rainwater and pond water to meet household water needs. (3) The status of the community's environmental carrying capacity can utilize river water and rain water for household water needs but must first be processed, while the potential for groundwater and pond water resources cannot be expected to fulfill household water supply.
