Majelis taklim is a non-formal community education institution, which
grows and develops among the Islamic community itself, whose interests
are to increase religious understanding and the benefit of mankind.
This study aims to determine the role of the taklim assembly in revitalizing
the moral education of teenagers around Kaliabang Bungur and find out
what obstacles are experienced by the Al-Musabihin Taklim Council in
revitalizing the moral education of the youth of Kaliabang Bungur. The
method used in this study is a qualitative research method with the type of
field research research (field qualitative research). The technique used in
data collection using the method of observation and interviews.
The results of the study show that the taklim assembly is able to revitalize
moral education through the activities in it, such as book studies, question
and answer methods and lectures conducted by teachers who fill in the
activities in the taklim assembly. In addition, teenagers who take part in the
Al-Musabihin taklim assembly better understand issues regarding religious
law.
