Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Firm Size, Market Effect, BOPO, LDR, and
NIM on the level of bankruptcy in banking companies listed on the IDX for the period 2018 - 2020, 28
banking companies were used as samples. Methods of data analysis using descriptive statistical analysis
and logistic regression analysis with the software program Statistics Product and Service Solution (SPSS)
version 25.0. The results showed that Firm Size has a positive and significant relationship to the level of
bank bankruptcy with a significance value smaller than alpha (0.037 <0.05) and the ratio of Operating
Costs to Operational Income (BOPO) has a negative and significant relationship to the level of bank
bankruptcy with a significant value more smaller than alpha (0.006 < 0.05). Meanwhile, Market Effect
(0.843 > 0.05), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) (0.340 > 0.05), and Net Interest Margin (NIM) 0.161 > 0.05)
have no significant effect on bank bankruptcy rates .
