Abstract
Increasing information technology in all aspects of life makes many changes that are felt by humans. Sophisticated technology and the existence of the internet make it easier for humans to carry out activities without limits. Many changes have gone from manual to digital. PT KAI Commuter as a rail transportation service provider continues to innovate to improve service quality. One of them is the innovation of e-ticketing payment services using the LinkAja application. PT KAI Commuter collaborates with the LinkAja Application to provide services to users. This study aims to analyze service innovation for e-ticketing payments for commuterline trains, inhibiting and supporting factors for service innovation and public perceptions as users of Commuterline Trains who use the LinkAja application as an e-ticketing payment system. This study uses qualitative methods, while data collection uses observation techniques, in-depth interviews and literature study. The results of research regarding the implementation of payment innovations using LinkAja have gone well and provide advantages both in terms of practicality and convenience in using services. Although there are still not many users of this payment innovation and socialization is needed to ensure that the public is aware of the Commuterline payment innovation using LinkAja.
