Abstract
AdindaNurhasanah,NPM41182941220008,"analysis of benefit and harm from the perspective of Islamic Law on Early Marriage Practice and Their Implications For Family Integrity in Cikarageman Village, Setu District,Bekasi Regency ". Thesis, Islamic Family Law Study Program (Ahwal Syakhshiyyah) Faculty Of Islamic Studies, Universitas Muhammadiyah Indonesia,2026 .
Early marriage remains a widespread phenomenon in various regions of Indonesia, including Cikarageman Village, Setu District, Bekasi Regency.This study aims to analyze the benefits and harms of early marriage practices From the perspective of Islamic Law and Their Implications For Family Integrity.This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive -analiytical approach thought in -depth interviews with the head of the Setu District Religious Affairs Office (KUA) , Religious counselors, and members of the community who entered into early marriage in Cikarageman Village during 2022-2025 .The data were analyzed using the theory of maqasid Al -syari'ah and the concepts of maslahat and mafsadat in usul al-fiqh.The findings indicate that early marriage practices in Cikarageman Village tend to cause more harm (mafsadat) than benefit (maslahat).The identified harms include reproductive health problems, interrupt education, family economic instability, and a high divorce rate.The benefits identified are temporary,namely preserving family honor by avoiding the consequenses of free associtiaon.from the perspective of Islamic Law, although early marriage is not absolutely prohibited, based on the legal maxim dar'u Al -mafasid muqaddam ala jalb Al -masalih, preventing harm should take precedence over obtaining benefit.The Implications For Family Integrity show that couples who marry at an early age are more vulnerable to household conflict that may lead to divorce . keywords: Early Marriage, maslahat, mafsadah, Islamic Law, family Integrity, Cikarageman Village.
