Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of capital structure and asset growth on financial performance. It employs a quantitative approach utilizing secondary data.
The study population consists of banking sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) continuously from 2023 to 2025, based on their annual reports. A purposive sampling method was used; applying the established criteria resulted in a final sample of 108 firm-year observations (36 companies over 3 years). Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted using EViews 14 software. The results indicate that both capital structure and asset growth have a significant negative effect on financial performance.
